Time displays incorrectly in system bar (top of screen), but correctly on lock screen

My time displays correctly on the lock screen, but it is stuck at 9:41 am on the system menu bar at the top of the screen. It is consistently wrong whenever this menu bar appears (i.e. almost all the time when the device is unlocked). Anyone else have this problem?

Hello cm04,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that after updating your iPad, the time in the status bar is incorrect. I'm happy to help.

If you haven't already, restart your iPad. Restarting can resolve many unexpected behaviors.
Restart your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

If the issue persists, reinstall iOS with iTunes. This can resolve possible software issues. When reinstalling iOS, iTunes will completely remove your current software and install a fresh version. While iTunes will try to do this without removing data, it's a good idea to make sure you have a recent backup before trying this step.
How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Use the steps in the link below to reinstall iOS with iTunes:
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Please let us know if the issue continues and include any other troubleshooting steps you may have tried.

Have a great day!

Yes, the time is correct on the clock icon. You can see the time at the top of the screen is stuck at 9:41 am, but the clock icon shows about 12:18 pm, the correct time. I have tried restarting the iPad, upgrading to the latest OS, and toggling the settings in General/Date & Time (24-hour time and Set Automatically).
