Unable to text pictures from photo library after IOS 11 update

I used to be able to go into my photo library and tap the arrow and choose from “activities” to send the picture via text. I no longer have this option since I updated my phone with IOS 11. I can only send as an email, Twitter, etc. The Message option is gone. I noticed the same problem when I tried to send a news article from another app, as well. Email or twitter, etc are the only options. No texts. I can send pictures if I take one, close the camera app and open texts and choose from there. This takes much longer than snapping a pic and sending directly from there. I didn’t change any settings and can’t seem to find one to be able to add to “activities”. (I also tried scrolling to the right and left within activities to see if the icon was there) Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

My phone is in enrolled in a mobile device management solution for my work. When I installed iOS 11 it removed the iMessage capability from the photo app. I went ahead and uninstalled the MDM for my phone and reenrolled it, that fixed my issue. I hope this helps you guys if you are in enrolled in the company mobile device management solution. If you go to settings, general, device management, you can try to remove the management profile. If you are Successful then you are going to need to re-enroll your device
