So with the new iOS update, I can’t figure out how to turn on night mode using the control panel. On the old iOS, if you click the moon in the control panel and like night mode would turn on and do not disturb was an optional thing. I figure that there’s no way to do allow night mode into the control panel, in case there is, let me know? Thanks
Use 3D Touch on the brightness slider on the control center. That’s how you get it. In other words, push rather hard on the brightness slider in the control center, and at the bottom of the screen you will se a night shift icon.

A slight change in iOS 11 is that Night Shift looks like it has vanished from Control Center. It hasn’t, but Apple has hidden in under the screen brightness slider. You’ll need to use 3D Touch on the brightness slider to enable or disable the night mode.
