Portrait mode stage lighting not working

When you’re taking the picture, you have to make sure the circle turns yellow. If it’s not yellow, it won’t save the filter. And pay attention to what it says above. Sometimes it tells you to move further away or turn on flash.

You have to take a picture of a persons face and wait for circle to become yellow.

It doesn’t work on objects and scenary.

Hi, I see that I had the same issue and followed to one of the members who addressed the fact about following the instructions before u click the pic. So, when I don’t follow the instructions just before I click i am unable to get the mono light. Whereas, when I follow the instructions the final pic takes about 2 seconds to load in mono light!

You have to capture a person sand not a scenary .

Took this with stage lighting this morning. Not a face and no circle showed up just a WYSIWYG screen. This afternoon it doesn't work. Same subject. Same place. Now a circle comes up that never turns yellow.

My circle doesn’t turn yellow most of the time and I can’t use this mode. Doesn’t say to move further away or use flash. Don’t know why?

Hey! I have the same exact issue. The circle hardly ever turns yellow, even when following iPhone's instructions. Anyone else with this problem? Is it a software or hardware issue?

This is a problem I’m having as well. It’s very frustrating! Will there be a fix for the problem? I’ve tried using different amounts of light in the room, taking them outside, and with different background arrangements. The circle for the spotlight rarely turns yellow.
