When downloading a file in Safari, a safari icon appears on the screen and won't go away without closing out safari and opening back up. How can I stop this?
MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014), macOS High Sierra (10.13)
The suggested page doesn't answer the question. When a photo or file is downloaded, the download icon remains on the screen. It won't go away unless you quit the browser and relaunch. I'm attaching a screenshot of this screen to illustrate the problem. You can see the download icon on the lower portion of the image. Would love a solution!
