My Retina 13 in Macbook Pro (early 2015) is no longer letting me copy and paste. No matter the application or how I try to copy and paste it won't let me.
Whether I select all, go to edit and click copy and try to paste
use command C, command V
or tap with two fingers
My laptop says it's copied and is ready to paste but when I go to paste it doesn't.

Try booting into Safe Mode: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262 and see if the issue persists there.
If Safe Mode doesn't solve it, launch Activity Monitor. Type "pboard" into the search filed. Then choose it and click on the "x" button at the top left. That should kill the pasteboard process and refresh it with a new one.
Besides Clipboard, copy & paste is also a function of LaunchServices. These are just cache files but can become corrupted. Try rebuilding your LaunchServices database.
Open Terminal in your Applications/Utilities folder.
At the prompt enter this command. Triple-click on the command to choose the entire line, You may be able to use copy/paste in Terminal. If not enter it carefully, syntax is important.
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister -kill -r -domain u -domain s -domain l -v
Press Return key and wait for the cursor to return to the prompt.
I also have the same problem.. I did what you said but nothing changed.. I can't copy-paste files or text no matter how i try to do it..
