Can’t download episodes from your feed.

I've created my RSS feed successfully, however 'iTunes Connect' displays this error:

"Can’t download episodes from your feed."

The feed URL is https://rss.mychurch.media/1/cornerstone-church-kingston

Example mp3 file: https://assets.mychurch.media/audio/2502/in-the-grip-of-grace-no-condemnation.mp 3

I think I've enabled byte-range requests, so I'd like any help I can get. Any suggestions?

Thanks all.

Ben

Your feed is not properly constructed as a podcast feed. It has no 'enclosure' tags containing the URLs of your MP3 files as required by iTunes: you've put these in the 'link' tags but that won't work, that tag should carry the address of your website.

There is no indication of what method you've used to create the feed. It may help you to look at my 'get you started' page on podcasting which includes a sample basic feed so you can see what one should look like.

ashbluz - always best to start your own string.

In your case the issue is you are using squarespace for your feed and media hosting.

squarespace is great for websites - they are horrible for RSS feeds and media hosting. They are not one of Apples recommended podcast hosts - you can keep them for your website - but you really should look elsewhere for your media and RSS feed hosting.
