Moviebox USB (packaged with Pinnacle Studio software)

I recently purchased the Pinnacle Studio MovieBox thinking I could convert my Hi8 video from my camcorder to DVD. I figured even though it didn't come with software for Mac I could always use my Parallels version of Windows to capture video. I would rather not do that as I don't have much space partitioned on my Windows virtual machine. iMovie can only seem to find my built-in iSight camera however when I check my System Profiler it lists under USB that I have a Pinnacle device connected. No icons (disk images) show up anywhere on my computer (that Spotlight and I can find anyway). HELP! Can I capture video using MovieBox USB? I know a lot of people on here have mentioned MovieBox DV but I'm hoping to not have to return this product if at all possible.
