APFS Container Resize error code is 49153

When trying to resize my SSD for Bootcamp under High Sierra and the File system is APFS, I get this error:

APFS Container Resize error code is 49153

A quick Google search and it appears I'm not the only one.

If anyone here has a solution, that would be quite welcomed by many!

If you have Time Machine enabled, it might be making snapshots that prevent you from resizing the APFS container.

1) Go to Time Machine preferences, and stop Automatic backups.

2) Remove all local snapshots using Terminal.

You can list them with tmutil listlocalsnapshots /

And delete them with

tmutil deletelocalsnapshots

Or you can delete all of them with: tmutil thinlocalsnapshots / 9999999999999999
