Can someone suggest how I might be able to stop that happening? I recently changed my the password for my Google account but I don't understand why I am constantly asked for it.Thanks

I ended up having to remove Google from my Mac accounts, then going into my Google account/Sign in and security/Connected apps & sites .I then disconnected OSX, logged out ,logged in and I was then able to add Google to my Mac mail accounts. All is well now although I have no idea why the problem arose in the first place
