If the cost of iPhone X is $350 dollars...

If the cost of the iPhone x is $350 dollars why is it necessary to charge Europeans SO much extra?

If Apple is making about $600 bucks pure profit on every sale (which seems a bit too high in terms of profit in many people's view) surely it could think of its European customers and offer one global price on the iPhone range.

Is it even necessary to have to make such enormous profits on a device that costs $350 to make?

First of all, the "production" costs are the marginal cost per unit and do not include a whole range of other costs.

In fact it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to calculate the "total" cost of producing an iPhone X.

Even if it were possible to do that, the goal of any company is to maximize its profits for the benefit of its shareholders.

Judging by the company's stock performance, Apple seems to be doing rather well in that area.😉
