How do I get my watch onto my att plan?

Note that your service plan must specifically include support for Apple Watch, including the carrier activating the device on the plan.
I just went through the process of adding my Apple Watch Series 3 Cellular to my ATT account two days ago. I initially tried to follow the procedure for setting up cellular using the Watch app, but this did not work. I called AT&T's customer service number and worked with a very knowedgeable and helpful person who set my Watch up perectly. The process took about 45 minutes and was complicated. I would recoomend that you call AT&T Customer Service and have them take you through the process.

I can’t actually believe you got someone helpful at AT&T. I’ve tried working with them to get my watch added to my cellular plan and after 4 hours the stupid idiots at AT&T still can’t figure it out! AT&T should hire baboons and maybe, just maybe tithe jib would get done.
