Anyone experiencing blurry recent call info on their Iphone 7 Plus after changing to the newest 11.0 download?

So here is a screenshot of my “Recent Calls.” I got my 7s about a month ago and this has happened at least 3 or 4 times a week. Powering off and re-starting always resolves the issue, but is extremely irritating. I am also posting to Official Apple Support.

Lots of talk with apple technical support

Two Genius appointments

Brand new replacement Iphone 7+

Latest software updates!!!

Problem persists

Tuning phone off then on clears problem

Problem returns

Frequency is arbitrary

Call history sontaniously blurs...not readable

Apple denies ever having seen the problem

Can’t seem to fix it at Genius Bar

Must be a glitch in the OS

We’ll probably have to wait Conan update that repairs the problem

It's not that Apple can't figure out how to fix the problem, it's that they deny ever having see the problem. Next time you go, take screen shots of all the messages in the "Official Apple Support" pages. And ask them why they don't read these daily.

It could be a glitch in the iOS. But my wife and I have the same phones, upgraded to the same system, and she's had it. I haven't.

Since it's not happening to many people, I wonder if it's a conflict with a third-party app that is running in the background.

Unfortunately that's one those things that is hard to pin down.

I have exactly the same problem...went to apple care ...try this I do not know if it works but here it is:

Settings.

click on your name at top.

iCloud

scroll to contacts ...

make sure contacts is turned on ....merge if necessary

Thats what they told me to do ....we'll see!!

I am having this issue today too on my iPhone 6, I’ve already done the factory reset after upgrading to new IOS where I couldn’t charge phone. Very big hassle because it requires me to also upgrade to new Sierra IOS on laptop. Computer hasn’t been functioning property as a result. Lost an important school paper in the process, due to Word functionality. It this is some sick way to get us all into new phones I’m out. My patience are already extremely thin. This isn’t the apple of 2007 when I purchased my first Mac and IPhone.

Yes all the time....they just cant seem to fix I use mine for business and it is a complete nightmare... 4 calls to apple suppport...Its all obout these kids sitting in the ivory tower in the states concocting all this nonsense for us poor souls...thoughoughly fed up with it. into Apple exeter where the phone came from on Mon if they cant sort out it goes ..NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE end of story get my £600 squid back get something else. Not happy

The same thing just happened to me on a new iPhone 8, when I wanted to place an urgent call. Has been solved through restart as suggested here. I find this not acceptable considering that this is a phone after all.

It is frustrating and now that I know others are experiencing the same thing quite upsetting. What do we do now? There must be someone who can do something for us.

I work in a field where seconds can be life or death. Please folks let’s get this fixed.

Try these two troubleshooting methods. Perform a Restore only if Restart doesn't solve your issue.

yes, same issue after updating to 11.0 software. restarting clears it up for now, but symptom did reoccur after restart once!

My screen goes fuzzy too. Three times, at least. I can be looking at my voice mail list or my recent calls list.

yes restart is temp fix hope it have permeant fix I am a new iPhone user and little disappointed my version is 11.3
