Colour picker does not work with Safari 11 and did with previous versions

I use a colour picker for my website which used to work by now with Safari 11 it doesn't.

The section called: Highlighted Text And Names Colour* is the colour picker.

It still works with other browsers also. I have contacted the owner of the script for the colour picker and they have also been able to replicate the issue. Their answer was:

" Weird bug! We haven't seen that before. We did some tests and determined it is just a Safari 11 issue. I found I had the same issue on my test store. When we made a test page on codepen.io and stripped out all the complicating factors, the issue persisted. It's not your theme, our app, or your computer. It's just Safari.
