Links in mail not opening in chrome

Since updating to high sierra when I click on a link in mail, a blank chrome window is opend insted of the link in the alreeady open chrome window.


Was never an issue in sierra.


Anyone else seen this or know how to fix it?

I noticed this problem for the first time today even though I updated to High Sierra a week or so ago. Came here looking for an answer. Updating Google Chrome worked for me, too.


In Chrome, go to the "Chrome" pulldown menu. Click "About Google Chrome" and you will update.

Weird weird... did as you mentioned and it was already Google Chrome default browser, restarted it again google chrome didn't ask to make it default as it already was on sys pref... but now it worked.... Weird weird weird šŸ˜
