Program to Import and Edit RAW for OS 10.12.6?

In my research, I have found that my camera, Panasonic Lumix DNC-FZ28, is not supported to accept RAW images, in OS 10.12.6. Can someone supply me a possible fix/download? I have spoken to Apple Support on this issue and they suggested to contact Panasonic. The question to them would be, if there is an installer or driver that I can download? However, I would like to hear from others that may have experienced a similar issue and what corrective measures were taken? Thanks.

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

If your camera is not supported then you must wait until it is (which usually requires having up to date software - currently High Sierra) or use third party software to develop the RAW and import the developed images into Photos for management - Panasonic should supply this software and has RAW software that sometimes supports cameras that Apple does not (or supported the camera earlier in some cases) -- you can not add RAW cameras to the Mac OS support - you have to upgrade after the support is announced

This is the camera list up through IOS 10 and 10.12.6 - Digital camera RAW formats supported by iOS 10 and macOS Sierra - Apple Support

This is the camera list up through IOS 11 and 10.13 - Digital camera RAW formats supported by iOS 11 and macOS High Sierra - Apple Support

I do not see your camera on the latest list of supported cameras

If used a Panasonic DMC-FZ28 for many years and still like it.

Adobe's DNG converter (http://supportdownloads.adobe.com/product.jsp?product=106&platform=Macintosh), can develop the FZ28 RAW files and convert them to DNG, also Photoshop can develop the RAW files. Photos for Mac can process the DNG files. You could then export them as TIFF. Or use the Silkiepix application that comes with the camera to develop the RAW files and export in a different format.
