Chrome won't launch Mac Sierra 10.12.6 MBP

Hi All

I have a new MBP and I have installed Chrome for the first time (version 61.0.3163.100). I am running 10.12.6.

When I launch Chrome, it pops up then disappears. Permissions on the file seem ok (my user has read/write).

Anyone else having this issue?
