I get the error message: Unable to install Whatsapp. The app could not be installed.
I checked everything in my app store, payment details etc. and all seemed fine. I even restored the phone and put the back up that I did before restoring. It happened after upgrading to 11.0.1
Can anybody help?

I went to the apple store and the only solution was to reset the phone as a new phone without the backup.

That app was blocked for certain customers. I do not know exactly who but I would contact the developer and find out. Another thing you could check is your restrictions. If you have it set to a certain age limit it will not let you download certain apps.
Try turning off WiFi or cellular. Make sure only one is on and try to resume downloading. You may try plugging in to a computer with iTunes also.
