If I'm understanding you right, you can no longer print to your AirPrint enabled printer after updating to MacOS High Sierra. I know it can be inconvenient to experience issues with your devices after updating their software, and I'm happy to help you with a solution.
I recommend following the troubleshooting steps listed in If you can't print from your Mac or iOS device, specifically this section:

If your printer is AirPrint-enabled

If your printer is AirPrint-enabled for printing from your Mac or iOS device, just make sure that it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network used by the Mac or iOS device.1

If you still can't print, try any of these solutions:

• Restart your Wi-Fi router. Then restart your printer.
• Move your printer closer to your Wi-Fi router.
• Update your printer and Wi-Fi router with the latest firmware from the manufacturer.2
• Update the software for your Mac or iOS device.

If you're using a Mac and you still can't print, it might help to reset the printing system. Otherwise, contact the printer manufacturer for support.

With respect to your issue, try deleting the printer from your list of printers. Ensure the printer is connected to your wifi network. Then add the printer to your list of printers on your computer. Which apparently worked for you.

If MickeyC_AU still needs assistance he needs to ask for assistance in the beta testers area since he is running a beta version of the OS.

Fix what? You changed operating systems to a beta version. We can not discuss beta operating systems in this community. You should be aware before using beta software that there will be issues arising. As with any operating system change it is often required that printers be removed then re-added along with updated drivers.

I have a HP printer and have exactly the same issue.

I've tried all the usual remedies (reset etc) and no luck.

Given that it is happening to different printer types I suspect it is an iOS issue. FYI I'm running the next beta of iOS and it is not fixed (But I have reported to Apple).

There was no reprimand just a suggestion where you can get assistance with your problem. We can not discuss issues related to beta OSs in these communities so my suggestion was made to help you get help. You also agreed to not discuss beta products here when you became a beta tester.
