Apple TV 4k video stutter

When you set up an Apple TV 4k it prefers to output a 60 Hz video signal, and when set it uses that for everything regardless of source material. This is a very bad idea, as all 24 fps (movies) and 25 fps (european TV) content will stutter. Not much, but it's definitely there and noticeable. The only way to get correct playback is to check what framerate the source material has, and then manually go into video settings and choose a video mode that matches the source framerate (or a multiple of it). Then playback is completely stutter free. Needless to say that is annoying, especially since the playback clients running on webOS on my TV does automatic mode switching and do not stutter at all.

So, this is not a question but rather information to other users and a feature request. Implement automatic mode switching based on the framerate of the source material, so that we can have stutter free playback of _all_ content. I would love for the Apple TV 4k to be a great choice for home theater enthusiasts, but right now it can't be.
