Can I pay for an iPhone in full with cash?

I would like to buy the new iPhones in spring and I’m currently saving up cash. Just wanted to make sure that I can use cash to buy it at an apple store/retailer. If not an Apple store, do carrier stores (in my case AT&T) accept cash for phones?

Yes, you can. I suggest buying your new iPhone from Apple Online Store, selecting the Apple Care + Protection for $99, follow on screen directions until you’re in checkout where you’ll provide your payment method. Your new iPhone will arrive in 2 business days (must sign for Fed Ex), it will already be registered for your Apple Care Protection Plan.(gives 2 full yrs support, allowed allowed 2 accidental deaths to your phong You will need a SIM card from your provider (Verizon, ATT, etc). Once, mine came without a SIM. Then it came with a SIM installed for my cellular network provider. It’s simple to setup. Your monthly bill will be $45 less, no insurance provided by your carrier is needed.

We’ve done this as a family of 3 for the last 2 iPhones we got. We got in on some benefits as a result of not having a contract with carrier. Our cell phone bill dropped over $100 monthly by not being “owned” by our carrier. You can choose your data package & change it as needed. You have the choice to leave your carrier at ANY time & they bend over backwards to keep you happy. We get an AARP/Senior discount, employee discount on any data package (22% discount). iPhones not under contract got a $25 credit monthly (no longer available). I will never purchase anything through a carrier again of get stuck on a 2 yr contract.
