Change breathe session to five minutes

I have the Apple watch series 3, and I have a couple of things I can't figure out. How do I change the duration of my breathing session from 1 minute to 5 minutes? I am also not getting reminders to do breathe sessions. I have it set to 3 breathe sessions a day, but it never reminds me.


My phone is iPhone 7 plus. The operating system is 11.0.1.

Go back to the support document that you linked to the forum with. It explains doing that in the document. Use the Breathe app - Apple Support


Set the length of your session

When you open the Breathe app to start a new session, you can turn the Digital Crown to set the session's duration.

When you find a duration that you like, you can make it the default from your iPhone:

  1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and tap the My Watch tab.
  2. Tap Breathe, then tap Use Previous Duration.

You can also change the length of each breath:

  1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and tap the My Watch tab.
  2. Tap Breathe, then tap Breath Rate.
  3. Tap to change the number of breaths per minute.


Adjust or turn off reminders

  1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and tap the My Watch tab.
  2. Tap Breathe > Breathe Reminders.
  3. Choose how often you get reminders.
