What happened to saved podcasts after the new IOS update

Inquiring about podcast episodes that were saved before the new iOS update. They are no where to be found and was hoping I could retrieve them somehow. Does anyone know if this is possible?

As it stands right now, there is not a way in the Podcasts app to select all the Saved Episodes and pull them together in one place. While you could have a Stations with all the Shows that had saved eps, there is not a way to instruct the Station not to download new eps for its Shows.

You might suggest it to Apple at https://www.apple.com/feedback/podcasts_ios.html

I’m not sure what you mean by ‘this’. That Scott eenshot was taken from the top of the Shows screen for the show named CATO Daily Podcast.

All I do to see the saved episode and replay it or re-download it to the Station that contains the Show is tap on Saved Episodes link in the pic above, tap on the specific episode then click Play or click the + sign to re-download it.

Thanks. I mean where the saved episodes are located. If I have many unplayed episodes (sometimes dozens), I need to scroll down through them to get to the saved episodes now. Previously it was at the top of the screen and very easy to access. I’d like to find a way to get it to the top of the screen again. (Or may see if I can find another app that could, since I use the saved episodes daily).

I totally agree, the new iOS podcast version is not as user friendly when it comes to saved podcasts as the previous version. I had many saved podcasts that did not carry over when I made the update and are now gone since it won’t allow me to go back that far and download again. There is another podcast app called Overcast that has the previous podcast version setup that I’ve been using and so far it’s been great. It also can be used with music for your Iwatch but since it is through Bluetooth connectivity, your phone must be near.
