I've been forced to switch from a mac to a PC at work. I have two Apple thunderbolt displays I'd like to keep using. The pc is an HP elitebook 1030. It has thunderbolt 3 support via a usb c port. is there an adapter to connect to the thunderbolt displays?

It has USB-C but no Thunderbolt. A Thunderbolt 3 plug will fit but it won't work.
There is no way to use Thunderbolt displays with computers that don't have Thunderbolt. There are no adapters, cables, or converters that will help.
You can try the USB-C to TB adapter but not sure it will work. Look at the Apple site under accessories.
I may have the exact model of HP laptop wrong, the USB C port has a thunderbolt logo on it, and the laptop is loaded with an application called Thunderbolt software. What connector is on the end of the Apple thunderbolt displays, and is there an adapter that will convert from USB C to that?
