Since no one has one at this time, and it is not listed in the specifications as having a metal plate, I would say no. You also have the option to put a case on the device and attach the metal plate to the case.

Which would probably interfere with the antenna and decrease your signal strength. You can also stick the magnetic sticker to the case, rather than the phone or insert a metal plate that would damage your device.
However, if you are sure that you would like to see something like this, then use the feedback link provided by panchososa694.
I agree with the other poster. It seems this magnetic property is important to you, and you continue to refer to the Galaxy, which seems to fit your need perfectly. I suggest you purchase the Galaxy.
That was just thoughts, but again, Galaxy s7 (2016) has that function and everything works properly: antenna, wireless charging etc. Apple’s Customer service told they haven’t tested phone for sticking (magnetism) and how does metal plate affect to wireless charging. Will see. I still like iPhones ))
I use a metal plate in my case with the iPhone 7 Plus. But that scratches the phone. If they built-in metal plate that would be great, right?
I’ve asked them. They told me they haven’t tested yet 😂. Seriously
If that's important to you without another accessory or case, then you're looking at the wrong phone. Just my opinion.
