Temporarily disable touch screen

Is there any way to disable the touch screen controls on my iPad so when my 1 year old grabs it and touches the screen and home button, it continues to play the YouTube video i started playing for him? Then maybe unlock it with a five second home button hold or something like that..... Thanks
