How to remove water stains for Apple Watch Screen

My Apple Watch Series 2 has had a very annoying issue with the screen having faded marks of water that can’t be removed with a cleaning cloth or any other type of wipe. It started appearing around the edges, but now it is the entire screen. I swim with it regularly, but have stopped due to this. What should I do?

Apple's instructions for cleaning your Apple Watch are detailed here:



Using anything else to clean the screen would be at your own risk.


If you are concerned about a potential manufacturing defect with your Apple Watch, then I suggest that you contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available, if required), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider to arrange for it to be checked:
