RESTORE to a PREVIOUS date

Is there any way to "restore" my I Mac to a previous date??
I know it can be done on a PC!!!

I thought I had lost some software (don't ask) and I used one of the Restore Discs that came with the computer in an attempt to re-load my missing software (SAFARI)

As it turns out, I got rid of a program that I no longer have the disc for!

Can I "UN-DO" what I did!!!

HELP!!!

I MAC, Mac OS X (10.3.9)

User uploaded fileYou can't. There is no "system restore" like in Windows - yet. That's what Time Machine is for, but that will not come out until Leopard is released.

As for now, the best you can do is find the disks, re-download it, or re-purchase it.

Many software publishers have a program to replace lost media, if you can prove that the copy is registered. Remember, you purchased a license and a simple loss of media does not change the fact that you bought a license for that software.
