Getting info from NewPad app

MAYBE, if you can install the app on your phone and sign in with an account your data may be there. i’ve never used the app so I have no experience with it.

Obstacles to overcome is that some iPad apps are ipad only and cannot be installed on smaller devices.

Have you gone to the app store on your phone and looked for the app?

Unfortunately with the going to 64 bit apps, there are a lot of 32 bit ones that are being abandoned by the developers. so a lot of people that either cannot update their current ipads because they need those 32 bit apps, or that lose access to their current 32 bit apps (like you did)

Did you ever update via iTunes? If so you should have a backup of your iPad on your computer. This is based on a lot of maybes, but you could backup your phone, then try to restore your phone from the update of your ipad which should transfer compatible apps and data over. There are some caveats. First that if an app is coded for iPad only it cannot be put onto an iPhone. Second, if your iPad update is iOS11, it cannot be put onto a device running iOS10. And even trying it can possibly take a few hours. So it may be a huge waste of time. and if it doesn’t work you will still be spending hours putting the backup of your phone back onto your phone. It’s kinda a hail mary pass so you‘d have to decide if it’s worth it.

If the app is no longer in the app store then it has likely been abandoned by the developer so you may be stuck.

Check with the developer and see if they have any remedy. Developers have known for about a year that their 32 bit apps were going to not be supported. Some chose to update, some did not.

Go to the app store app. Then tap on the little person icon on the upper right corner and purchased. You should see your app. Don’t tap on the open button rather the icon for the app which should take you to its iTunes page. THere you can leave a review or you should find ways to contact the developer.
