Time to Stand notification not working

I used to get the 10 minutes-to-the-hour notifications on my Watch for time to Stand. I no longer get them even though I have turned on Notifications on the Watch app on my iPhone. I have a Watch Series 3

Hi

The following steps may help, having resolved the same issue for others:

  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > Passcode > check that Wrist Detection is turned on.
  • On your iPhone, in the Watch app, to go: My Watch (tab) > Health.

If the setting for Wheelchair currently states "Not Set", then tap on Edit (upper-right) > tap on "Not Set" and change it to "No" (options are shown in the bottom area of the screen) > tap on Done (upper-right).

  • Restart your Apple Watch (normally):

Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support

  • Monitor performance after making any changes:

Keep in mind that a Stand reminder will not be issued until 10 minutes to the hour and only then if you have not yet recorded Stand credit within that hour and also not yet met that day's Stand goal.

I followed your procedure and initially it did not correct the situation. I then turned off the standing notification for the following one or two hour cycles. When I turned it back on it started working.

Something to note, before, at the top of every hour the bar for that hour would turn light blue. Currently, it is staying black until you complete the requirement and then it turns blue. This is not acceptable since I need a magnifying glass to see those hour markings on the watch. I had missed several hours because of that so getting the 50 minute notification back will help.

Thanks.
