Spilled coconut water on MacBook Pro (2014, retina). What to do?

It was around half of a tall glass of coconut water that I spilled on the keyboard and around the MacBook. I quickly turned it off and put it upside down. It is now drying, upside down. What should I do? I live in India, for reference.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

Sorry to appear so negative but I hold out very little hope in the longer term your machine will work as before. It may be immediate, may be a couple of months but eventually the corrosion which accompanies such an event will take hold.

And living in India means you do not have a formal Apple presence in the country and standards tend to be lower than in the west. Usual response will be an immediate 'Buy a replacement'. But just in case you find a real technician, do not turn on the machine before it has been professionally examined. Heat generated can only hasten the corrosion.

That depends on whether you have the skill to open it up and know what to do when it is open.

Keep in mind that once you open it, an Apple store will not look at it further for fear of being blamed for damage you may have done when opening it.

As I suggested. India is a difficult country to have ANY problems with your machine. And you should also bear in mind that Apple excludes liquid damage from their warranty or Apple Care +

I do sympathize but liquids and electronics do not go together. It is devil and the deep blue sea, I'm afraid.
