Our office WIFI recently changed settings.
I can connect to the network but no internet access.
The auto settings are using the old gateway, and dns settings.
I attempted these possible solutions.
Put on airplane mode then back - no effect
Forget network - no effect
Tried renew lease - no effect
What is the best way to erase the old settings and enter the new ones?

Hi. When the WiFi is set to Automatic, it's getting those settings by DHCP from the router.
Has the router been updated/restarted since the WiFi settings were changed?
Thanks I have tried that multiple times. It always reverts to previous settings.
I can set up a static ip address and specify the DNS manually. But it always reverts back to the earlier settings if I set it for automatic.
The has to be a way to flush this out.

Perhaps you should explain your problem to the IT administrator in your office.
In my office I don't want people to use our wifi network for internet access through their smartphones, without my permission.
This can be accomplished in many ways: the easiest one (already recalled by Diana) is to set DHCP (managing device's mac address and IP under firewall / URL filtering, etc) on the office router.
That's why I told you to talk to your IT administrator or system supervisor and see if he can help you.
