Cant add non iPhone user to group message

We did the newest update on the iPhone 6plus. Now when we make a group message we can no longer add non iPhone users once the group chat is made. We also can't name our group with non iPhone users in the group chat.

We already tried a hard restart but that didn't help either. Help please!! Thank you!!

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 11.0.2

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that after updating your iPhone, you've been unable to add contacts that aren't using Apple devices to your group messages. You've done a great job trying to get this resolved so far.

Please follow the remaining steps in the link below:

Add or remove someone from a group conversation

Anyone in a group iMessage can add or remove someone from the conversation. You can remove a person from a group iMessage that has at least three other people. You can’t add or remove people from group MMS messages or group SMS messages.
