Strange error message on streaming site - could not load the manifest file

I am getting this error message when I try to download free content from the site of a broadcaster:

"Could not load the manifest file. Make sure the source is set correctly and that CORS support is enabled."

I have been downloading the daily TV news broadcast from this site for a couple of years. Anyone know what this means?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), macOS Sierra (10.12.6), 2.8ghz, 16 gb ram

Do you see the same thing in other web browsers ?.

For Safari, you might be able to access the content by doing this :

Enable the Develop menu from Safari - Preferences - Advanced

then test after checking Safari - Develop - Disable Cross-Origin Restrictions

Remember to uncheck it afterwards : Same-Origin policy
