Disabling Emergency SOS on iPhone 8?

I received my iPhone 8 last weekend and it has already made four(4), unwanted, emergency 911 calls. Three were while I was driving and one while I was taking a video in class. Are there options to disable this feature entirely? I don't want to give the iPhone 8 a bad name with the 911 folks who are already annoyed with me. And yes, I have "caught" and tried to cancel the calling process as I have the audio-alert enabled to notify me when this type of call is being made. Again, my goal here is to disable the feature entirely. What are my options?

I don't believe you can disable it but if you turn off the Auto Call feature then the call wouldn't go through unless you requested it to. I would think that since you want to disable it then you don't need the Auto Call turned on.
