Apple Watch does not sync do not disturb setting when turning off on iPhone.

Since updating to watch os4 my watch does not mirror many settings in iPhone. Specifically, when I turn off ‘Do Not Disturb’ in iPhone, it does not disable in watch. I had this problem with my first gen watch and even still with my new series 3 (gps/cellular). Both watch and iPhone have latest software and the setting to sync is enabled. I have iPhone 7 Plus. I have tried unpairing and setting watch up as new. No impact on function.

In my case, it is working OK in any case but in the mornings.

I mean, if now I set manually the "do not disturb" on the iPhone, it syncs ok with the watch. Also if I turn off the feature, it is disabled on the watch.

The only moment it doesn't works is in the morning when it has to be deactivated because of the scheduled program on the iPhone.

Don't know if your case is similar or you are having problems at every moment. I am just trying to put here more information. I have also reported the issue to Apple and linked to this post.

Thanks!

Hey,

I am having the same issue. I have the first generation of Apple Watch. Recently I have noticed that in the mornings, the watch remains in "Do not disturb" while the iPhone is not.

I have the "auto" Do not disturb setting configured on the iPhone from 23:00 to 08:00. It works ok and also the watch enters in Do not disturb mode at 23:00, but in the mornings at 8:00, it is not going off this mode while the iPhone is.

I think it is related to one of the last updates because I have been working with this configuration for two years and it is the first time I am experiencing this kind of issue.

Best regards!
