I have the Authenticator app on my iPhone. Which I back up pretty often on my Mac.
Does the backup of Authenticator include all the codes generating passwords?
I'm wondering in the event I have to restore the iPhone.

Whether or not in app data is backed up is up to the developer. Contact the developer for assistance. That's not an Apple product.

I think Tim hit the nail on the head. Unless Google is doing this behind the scenes there is not much info on the iOS versions backup if there is one outside of a few Unix and Windows hacks for Android's version.
I understand, but I'm not wondering whether or not Google is backing up my app.
I'd like to know if in the event I restore my iPhone backup from iTunes, Google Authenticator will be reinstalled with all codes inside.
