I had to download the new iOS 11.0.2. on my iphone 5s. Afterwards the passcode screen is so light gray I can't see it. how do I change the color from gray to anything I can see.

In “Settings, “ go to Accessibility, then “Increase Contrast.” Once there, try turning “Reduce Transparency” OFF. It doesn’t seem like that would work, but it does. I tried it, and my passcode screen is no longer shades of gray.

Thanks for your reply. Your answer was exactly what I expected. I am always afraid to change my iOS. Every single time I update I loose something I like. People with cataracts or have had cataracts can not see various shades of gray and LCD displays. There is no black and white on the net anymore it's just gray and grayer. No wonder Jutterbugs are so popular.
