Rotating the phone 90 degrees does not change the view of photos from narrow to wide. How can I fix this??

If the picture was tagged with the wrong orientation, you can rotate it using an Edit rotate tool.
Otherwise, you might have set Orientation Lock on your phone. You can unlock it from the Control Center.
