(M. A1243) Wired Keyboard Not Working

After I accidentally turned the off switch on my power strip that was housing the power cable to my iMac (Mid 2011), my wired keyboard has stopped working. Which is odd because my USB ports are working perfectly fine, I checked them and there is no issue. And this keyboard also works perfectly fine with my MacBook Pro and does respond. How can I fix this issue because I greatly dislike using the apple bluetooth keyboard?
