I have an new iphone 8, it does not have a mini plug as my old 5 did I would charge the phone while playing music or podcasts through my car's AUX input now I can do one or the other. Is there a way to do both with the Iphone 8?

You will need a Made for iPhone adapter. Belkin makes one. The one the other poster provided displays right on the web page that it does not work with iOS 11. Failure to use Made for iPhone certified accessories can lead to damage to your device and possibly voiding your warranty. Check the Apple website, go to the iPhone section and then accessories, you will find it. It is also sold at Apple Stores. Belkin Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar.
What got horrible reviews, the Belkin? I've used it multiple times on extended car trips and it works flawlessly. I never encountered an issue at all. I have it sitting in the glove box of my car with the adapter and an aux cable attached to it. Don't just take my word for it, but you can always take it back if it doesn't work for you.
thanks but it got mainly horrible reviews, maybe I will just take a bluetooth speaker with on long trips and wait for belkin to come out with a new and improved model. thanks
