Is anyone else’s iPhone 8 Plus screen lagging?

I had a horrible problem. After weeks of trouble shooting and searching the web for an explanation.

So I ended up setting it up as a new phone. Then sign into iCloud. Then redownloading all my apps! I had to basically clear everything out! Every time I get a new iPhone I do a did a set up using my iCloud back ups. You have to make sure your contacts, music, photos, notes, calendars..etc are all backed up in iCloud. So after seven years of new iPhones every year I somehow got a corrupt file and apps . I figured out that when I went to download my apps some were not able to be downloaded because the app makers didn’t keep them updated for the next iOS..etc. Abd since I was restoring from my backup I kept getting the apps that were not updated. It works perfectly fine, in fact great! Just like an iPhone should. I talked with Apple care and they told me that this happens many times to people. They said what I did is exactly correct in fixing it. Good luck! 👍-1F3FB;

I have the same problems. Plus the dictation accuracy is horrible! Then after you finish talking and you go to correct it, it’s almost impossible to do. The screen freezes sometimes as well. I contacted Apple and went through many steps with no fix. Now they are sending me a new one. I think it’s an iOS 11.1.1...etc. problem!

My iPhone 8 plus heats up really hot when playing games. So hot to the point where it lags the phone so much it froze. Had to press the home button or the lock button several times until it exit out the game. Thought this was supposed to be the fastest processor and graphics?

I have exchanged my iPhone 8 Plus 5 times and it still lags! I think it is an iOS issue. I hope they will fix this soon or I will switch to Samsung and never buy another Apple product again. Do you hear me, Apple? Check your records for my Genius Bar issues in Tokyo. First, it was the camera lens flare - green glare which I think is unacceptable for a high-end device, then it was the specs of dust inside the camera lens, and followed by that has been the slow performance. I did an Antutu benchmark test and it was high only when all the apps were shut down and the phone was on airplane mode. When apps are running and the connection is strong (wi-fi), the benchmark is lower than iPhone 7. Is that acceptable? I am paying over a thousand dollars for this phone. I am tired of going to the Apple store, I have a job and a life. Please get your act together and fix this problem or I will leave Apple forever.

Same issues and more. They are sending me a new phone because I live in a part of Florida that doesn’t have an Apple Store. And I don’t really want to have to switch to the X until the next one In 2018. I think it’s an iOS problem as well. Good luck.

I’m using an iPhone 6 Plus and when I use a wallpaper on the home screen with a white back ground and small art in the middle (let’s say the YouTube white loading screen with the red play button in the middle) my phone lags scrolling for apps on the home screen but when I use a black background or colorful picture as my wall paper there is no lag and scrolling for apps are smooth I sent a feedback to Apple just waiting for a fix but u can try it and see for urself if it affects ur phone

Yes it is ******* annoying, Bluetooth constantly goes out and the lag with this phone is tragic. My 7 never had these problems. I’m gonna return mine
