from pakistan contacting apple support is like going to moon on bicycle.

I have a issue with apple I.D. and password and I wanted to contact apple when I visited the page i was amazed to see there is no chat or email support available. The only option available to people of Pakistan is a phone no which is dead and can't be dail and I got same reply after dialling this no whole day

"Service is not available at this time"

And that's it. Now any body suggest me how I can contact support team via email because I can't afford to send documents directly to apple. As it will cost me 40-50 usd.

I tried to find out more about the telephone numbers from here in England by calling the Pakistan Embassy. Somewhat in line with your experience I found they were closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

But studying other Pakistan telephone numbers it seems possible that the form of the number is not quite what you say. I could be wrong but here it says 800.3610479. No 0 at the front. It also says closed Saturday and Sunday. The no '0' could be right because it is internal number in the country, though that is not the case in Europe.

There is an Apple Authorised reseller in Karachi known as MediaCenter with a telephone number

+92 21 3589 1394. They close at 8pm. They may be able to guide you.

Best I can do.

Post the phone number that you are given after tapping the "phone" icon - or does it dial it automatically? (Give number anyway)

I get this when choosing Pakistan > Apple ID on my PC browser triage

When I search Google with the 2nd line - the non-Apple results talk about Apple's "Toll-free" support number (compiled lists of support numbers)

I cannot test from the US...

If it fails as you describe, you can report the "wrong number" at > Contact Us - Website Feedback - Apple

You can also try Twitter > Apple Support (@AppleSupport) | Twitter > https://twitter.com/AppleSupport

OK

A possibility is that the "service" (the first set of numbers > 00800 01001 < only works on the weekdays ??

I have no clue about how the phone system works in Pakistan - could it be that an account like this can be switched "on and off" depending on whether there is someone there to answer?

Meanwhile, do as Eric suggests and "LIE" about what your real issue is to get Chat option - then tell them that the phone number is broken if you like
