What bandwidth do I need to stream 4K video to the new 4K apple tv

What bandwidth do I need to stream 4K video to the new 4K apple tv? My ISP routinely serves up 24 to 40 Megs/second.

If I don't have enough bandwidth from my ISP, can I download the content, such as a movie or TV show for later viewing?

I find this very weird and oddly 'behind the curve' for Apple. Both Netflix and Amazon have apps for my iPhone that allow both direct streaming and storage with the 'option' to use the file either on the device or screen share. The only data connectivity we have at our house is through mobile networks. We use T-Mobile which is terrific. We can download entire seasons of a show overnight for playback in the future as we have time for them. I know 4K is a much larger file size, but considering we can easily store 17 hours of HD video for a TV show and several movies without the iPhone cracking a sweat, this is just truly strange I think.

Itunes does allow download, but it would be for HD content and stored on computer or IOS device as Apple TV is a streaming only device (other devices would be the same in this regard). Netflix downloads cannot be airplayed or streamed to another device.

You would need a home network to use ATV, the mobile provider would throttle after a certain threshold and doing so would be in violation of their fair usage policy
