MacBook Pro Mid-2014, just upgraded to High Sierra via AppStore. PDFs are very blurry when displayed in Preview.app, especially on the low dpi(regular 1080p) external display. I've checked preference of preview, tried every options and didn't help.

I just wanted to thank you for the comparison and for pointing out that Chrome supports pdf natively.
Anyone as frustrated as I was should seriously consider using Chrome until Apple can fix the issue.
How to use Chrome as default:
Hopefully Apple will fix the rendering quickly. Until now, preview has been a really nice built-in feature to macOS.

They just made the preview app worst for reading pdf files.
The same issue.. Preview was one great MAC built-in software, but now is the worst, and the Quicklook as well.
