Does Restoring a Back up on Iphone requires sim after finishing it?

first when i still have a sim card i restore my phone through itunes (i mean the one like reset) then after its completed and i successfully activated my phone i can use it like normal but no photos,games,etc. because as i told i did a restore and after that my friend borrowed my sim and its ok for me but lately i wanted to restore my back up from itunes because my game files are there but im afraid that it would need a sim card when i finished the back up restore.Will sim required after finishing the restoration of the back up.I dont wanna be stuck up in the set up process if it really required sim.Please Help! i do not have any sim right now and i cant have

When you utilize iTunes to restore your iPhone to a backup or factory settings, it does need to reactivate once the restore is finished. The activation process requires a SIM card be inserted into the iPhone, but it does not have to be a currently active SIM card.
