Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

After the latest update, Safari keeps on crashing and I do not understand why. What can I do?

I regularly update my applications as soon as an update appears on the Apple Store app.

My latest Safari update was version 11 on September 30, 2017.

Since then, Safari started crashing/freezing more and more.

What can I do?

Thank you.

Turn off Safari extensions in Safari > Preferences > Extensions > un-checkmark all extensions.

Empty Caches. You can either choose Safari menu > Clear History Or, if you do not want to remove History go to Safari menu > Preferences > Advanced and check the “Show Develop Menu” in Menubar. Then, on that menu > “Empty Caches”.
