How do you delete apps from the iPod touch 2nd generation?
I have an iPod Touch 2nd generation, 8 GB. I would like to delete some of the apps and don't know how.
Thanks

I believe the following will work. On the home screen press and hold any app icon until all of the apps start jiggling. Then tap any app(s) that displays an x on its icon. Press the home button to stop the jiggling. Note that there are built in apps from Apple that won't display the x and cannot be deleted.

A later version of iOS (iOS 10) allows many of the built in apps to be deleted, but you won't be able to update to that on a 2nd generation. The workaround is to move the apps that you don't want into a folder on a later home screen where they are out of sight.
Thanks. It looks like all the apps that are on it are ones that can't be deleted. They all jiggled but none had and "X."
