Tap to click doesn't work after High Sierra upgrade MBP 13-inch mid 2010

System Preferences > Trackpad > Point & Click

Uncheck and recheck all these three boxes.

Make "Ignore built-in trackpad..." is not enabled.

Enable it and disable it.

, I have the same problem, but I brought into an apple store, they fixed it for me by downgrading the macbook to sierra 10.12.6, my tap is back after that

thanks... so many things are not stable on my 2011 MBP in High Sierra...

dvd's play fragmented... typing Word jumps, my Mac fix it guy said...

MBP13 Late 2010 (A1278):

Maverick, ElCapitan, Yosemite = trackpad OK.

Hign Sierra (clear installation) = system cannot find trackpad.

Yes, this side bar show up for me, but not fully as you show.

Yes, hard clic is working.

There is no “ignore built-in trackpad...” in this menu
