I have just come across "Memories"--somebody (WHO?) is presuming to decide which of my photos and videos are best and should be made into a movie; this is not something I asked for and seems shockingly intrusive. How can I remove this??

I feel invaded by the sudden assumption that someone (WHO??) CAN DECIDE WHICH OF MY PHOTOS OR VIDEOS SHOULD GO INTO A 'MEMORY' MOVIE--then make the movie, name it, and show it to me (AND WHO ELSE??). I want to get rid of this intrusive thing that I never asked for in the first place. How can I do it?

HOW TO GET RID OF THIS NEW THING CALLED 'MEMORIES' ON IPHONE??

It’s all done by Artificial Intelligence algorithms. Unlike other companies, in Apple’s usual concern for users privacy, it’s all done locally on the device and is never uploaded to a centralized server farm to mine your information.
